Brian Casel: [00:00:00] Hey, it's Open Threads. It's my podcast. I'm Brian Casel. Welcome to it. Today, I've just got a quick update to let you know that I'll be taking a break just for a bit from recording new episodes on this Open Threads podcast. But don't unsubscribe, I promise. I will be coming back on this feed with all new conversations with founder, friends, and others as soon as the opportunity arises. Which I'm sure it will soon enough.

But for right now here in the first quarter of 2023, I am just heads down on working on my product business ZipMessage, which if you've been following along, we've been shipping quite a few, pretty exciting features like workflows and programs and lots of other stuff coming soon.

And, spoiler alert, we're actually gonna be rebranding to a new [00:01:00] name, in the coming months. So, lots of work to do, lots of things happening there. And so because of all that, my personal bandwidth for, you know, planning and producing and doing these interviews, just doesn't fit into the mix for me anymore. But I do plan to bring it back, you know, I'm talking to founder friends all the time, and as soon as the opportunity arises, probably later this year, I'll be firing this podcast feed back up. So again, don't unsubscribe.

In the meantime, I do have another podcast, if you haven't heard of it, it's called Bootstrapped Web. You can find is at BootstrappedWeb.com. We'll link it up in the show notes. Believe it or not, my co-host, Jordan Gal and I have been publishing that on a weekly-ish basis for going on almost 10 years now. Pretty amazing. That's a bit of a different show. That's where, Jordan and I, share our behind-the-scenes, realtime stories of running our businesses.

People really seem to like it, and if you haven't heard it before, you know, I invite you to come [00:02:00] along for the ride because we are continuing to publish our episodes over there. A little behind-the-scenes of, running a podcast, you know, doing the interview style episodes that I've been doing here on Open Threads, that actually just takes a lot more work and planning and time, to, you know, find guests and book them on the show and plan out the interviews and then do the interviews. Whereas a show like Bootstrapped Web, it's really just my friend Jordan and I hopping on a call about once a week and recording and just sharing real time, you know, what's going on. And so, you know, that one is just, uh, a little bit easier for both of us to, consistently publish new episodes because it just takes, you know, a little bit less work to get them out there.

So, you know, that's a, a bit of behind the scenes of, of how it works to publish a show like these. As always, you can, uh, follow along with my personal updates on Twitter.
